I liked him in See the Light arc, but in S3 he was facing another difficult obstacle- being a partner of a person who's been addicted to drags. He did a great job there as well.

I think he did an amazing job especially in the scene in which he goes to Michael's for Hunter's birthday and he tells them he has to find a place to sleep and the girls offer him their house. And also the last confrontation with Ted, the morning after the party Emmett had organized for him and his "friends".

He went through a lot during that arc

I didn't l;ike the way Mel lashed out at Emmett at first, but on the other hand she wasn't just Emmet's friend, she was also Ted's friend. Ted took Gus' money, though so M/L were not in a very comfortable position in that case.

I like how she offered him to stat after all.

This is one of the few occasions in which I understand Mel and I think she was right. She couldn't forgive and forget what Ted had done, without seeing that Ted was sorry for real and that he wouldn't do anything like that again. Trust is a complicated thing, you earn it and sometimes you lose it and when you lose it, it's not easy to get it back. But I also understand why Emmett was disappointed with Mel's reaction, because he was trying to protect Ted. What I love is that they managed to put their fight aside when Emmett needed help.

Vered yes, Mel was already pregnant I think it was one of the last episodes of the season. It must feel really bad to find yourself without even a place to sleep, because your boyfriend is choosing drugs over you

And he had lost not only his boyfriend, but his best friend too. That's a double loss, which hurts even more.

It was nice of M/L to offer Emmett to stay after all. I think they always knew how to help their friends better than they knew how to work things out between them. In fact by the time Emmett moved in witht hem I think things started to get shaky again between M/L.

Actually things were ok between them untill S4. They were going strong, it's in the middle of S4 that Lindsay makes that famous mistake. I think S3 is their best season, actually.

I'm not sure M/L ever had a good season because there was always something happening, and they just couldn't seem to go past the obstacles they faces and move on from there.
I don't remember if it was S4 or early S5 but it's sad when Lindsay says she would only stay with Mel until the baby was would be born but that Mel shouldn't excpect much more than that.
