I don't like her hair either in that particular still but overall I liked it in the season.

I have to say that even though I don't agree with many of Mel's actions through the show I think it was very brave of her to want to have a baby and continue her carrer.
there is one scene in in 308 (if I remember currectly ) where Mel talks with Lindsay about what it means to be a lesbian working mother. it's quite an intense moment.

I liked how Mel ultimately got the procedure she needed to have the child she wanted so much. I didn't like much instead how she told their friends they were having another baby when Lindsay had told her she didn't want to carry another one.

I have to admit I don't remember that convo, but I agree she wasn't treating Lindsay right during her pregnancy. Mel obviously wanted to have her own baby,and I asume she still loved Lindsay and wanted to raise the baby together, but the way they handled everything around them just stood in their way.
It was sad to see Lindsay telling Mel she'll stay with her until the baby is born and that she'll leave.

That was S4 though.

I'm talking about the very beginning of S3. Mel really wants another baby but at that point she still has that problem that makes it impossible for her to carry the child. Lindsay tells her she has just started to work again or something like that and she doesn't want to carry another baby. But even after that convo Mel goes to their friends and tells them they're going to have a baby soon. I think that was wrong. Only later she gets the procedure and carries the baby herself.

I think she should've first talked with Lindsay about her decision to have another child and not have an operation and not tell Lindsay anything about it.

I think that the need to be so in control got her to do things without sharing with Lindsay. that's why I can't really blame Lindsay for telling Mel she wants to leave (in S4 )

In S4 Mel had been so cruel that I wanted to find a way to get into the show and take Lindsay out of that house myself

In S3 they were pretty much ok though. Quite solid, with the new baby coming.

I kinde like the way they talked about potential fathers (even though I hated it when Mel had a nightmare about Brian... )

I loved that she had those nightmares, the one we got to see was hilarious how did Lindsay call it? sperm donor pageant? fathers pageant? Damn, I don't remember.
