don't you just love that scene at Woody's when he tells Justin what happened?

That's when Justin tells him he was kicked out of school, right? I love that scene. Brian is saying it's over now that they guy killed himself, but Justin, with his "sometimes you have to [sacrifice everything] for what you believe in", pushes him to do what he'll do later.

it's such a great scene. it says so much about them. I belive Justin's conviction and actions were major influence on Brian when he decsided to stand up to Stockwell.

I think so too. It came from inside him but I think Justin had a big role in making Brian's "inner goodness" come out.

Sorry, it seems I'm all a typo lately
I admire and respect Justin for fighting for what he believes in, instead of choosing the easiest way out and just thinking about staying in school. __________________

I love how he stood up to the school board. __________________

I love when he apologizes to the school board, it's evident he's not sorry at all
And the way he describes what happened with Brian to the principal cracks me up "Mr. Kinney and I had personal relationship prior to my internship at Vanguard so it's not like I was ****ing the boss" __________________

I so love that side of Justin. I like the fact we got to see much more of it in the second half of S3

He was very strong and determing in the second part of S3. I like to believe that being back with Brian, having finally realized what he really wants and acted on it, was part of the reason why.

definitely
their relationship were much more balanced after the reunion.he knew Brian is the person who really loved him,and that he doesn't have to be someone he's not. he was an equal partner in the relationship, and I think that helped too. plus we all know Justin was never afraid to stand up and say what's on his mind, but since he regained his old self confidence and presistance it was easier for him __________________

I think there was a moment when he was kinda afraid to stand up for himself in S2. I think Season 1 Justin, or S3/4/5, would have told Brian he wasn't happy with how things were going between them. He would asked for what he needed, instead of searching for it somewhere else.
