So I'm watching season 2 again and it just amazes me that people can't see the pain that Brian is in over Justin. He's drinking like crazy and drugs and everything cause he's hurting so much.
And also his mum saying go away, come back - it just must wreck him so much to have that and just be all over the place with their emotions and his emotions. I always feel sorry for Brian for how people see him and treat him. It's only cause he loves Justin so much that he does all these things. That's what I think anyway  Also, it hurts Brian to keep reliving the incident to try and help Justin get better - especially as Justin says I wish I could remember and Brian says I wish I could forget  Last edited by fmaldy24; 03-21-2019 at 05:26 PM |

Well, Michael does see it right away, and calls him out on it.

Michael was the only one being away and not seeing Brian all the time.. maybe that had something to do with it
 seeing things all the time makes you blind for important things__________________

I have really mixed feelings about Michael seeing Brian in the bloody scarf. Michael actually DOESN'T say anything about the scarf. If it was my best friend, I would have held an intervention. That is some major fk'd up s
 t wearing a bloody scarf and you can be sure that I wouldn't have kept that one a secret.__________________

The bloody scarf is touchy. Brian was obviously hiding it. I'm not sure what I would've done in Michael's spot, TBH.
When Michael calls him out, I'm referring to the scene at Woody's when Brian makes that terrible lumberjack joke and Michael's like, "You're a falling-down mess!" and something like "What's going on with you?" and whatnot. __________________

I'm not sure, but Michale knew Brian well enough not to touch that subject. I'm sure it came to his mind, but he also knew that Brian already managed to shut everybody else out and didn't want to be the next on the list. we don't know what he did to turn all the others against him. I can't believe it was "only" not going to visit Justin during the day and trick a lot.. he must have pushed them away in a different way too..
but I'm glad Michale pointed out to him directly what a mess he was at that point __________________

I feel like with the scarf, Michael sort of understood. No, it wasn't healthy whatsoever but I think he knew well enough not to mention it because it wouldn't help. But like you both said, he at least still called him out.
