 I don't see this scene the way everyone else does  . I always see it as Brian leaving Justin to find the trick ... it's just the way he pushes Justin away and turns to walk off ..  __________________

I used to think that's what happened, but...now I see that after that gorgeous kiss, Brian playfully pushed Justin back and grabbed his hand to walk away with him.
Just a small selection of the lyrics of "The Man I Love", which is that scenes closing song. The way QAF brilliantly used music to represent scenes, it's undeniable that this is what happened...Brian took Justin home alone. Quote:

If you watch 1:01 to 1:03, you can absolutely see Brian grab Justin's and pull him.
