Sure they all liked to fool around but Brian was too much! He picked up guys at babylon, at the baths, at the gym, at work, at the supermarket, in the internet... He never stopped! Surprises me that he didn't get immune to sex as Ted got immune to porn

Marta: Brian said that Justin was using sex for "pain management". He knew personally, because that's how he used it. I think he enjoyed it at times, but he used it like a drug.

I was thinking about when Brian finally showed Justin that he desperately loved him. It was obvious that he loved him, when he took care of him after Jennifer sent Justin to him, but the desperation was after he met Ethan and the whole "love bashing" scene unfolded. It was quiet desperation, but it was desperation nonetheless.

You're so right, Deborab. My goodness, I don't think I've ever seen Brian be that physical expressive before. It's all in his body language...it tells a story of love and yearning. Brian wanted Justin to be happy, but he soooooo didn't want him to go. He couldn't say it vocally, though.

He was so hurt. How could anyone ever hurt him so much?
This did have to happen though. I think if Justin were to have stayed, Brian wouldn't be able to get over his resentment and pain. __________________

I think Brian needed to get his heart broken by Justin- the one person he loved- so that he could reevaluate his actions and missteps he took. It was so difficult to watch those first two episodes of season 2 finale and season 2 premiere, because he was sooooo lonely and miserable without Justin...and it was painfully obvious.
