The fact that Brian conspired to help Mel and Lindz have a wonderful wedding, despite what his feelings were about marriage, was just so sweet. :sigh:

galesgirl645 06-09-2013 02:23 PM

He was always there for his friends.

SojournHeart11 06-09-2013 06:50 PM

Always.

galesgirl645 06-10-2013 05:01 PM

No matter what they said about Brian, he was a loyal friend.

WildRose 06-11-2013 10:36 AM

It really upsets me,though to watch M/L complain that Brian never helped them and never did anything they ask him for. I mean... they guy gave up his parental rights for them so they could live together as a family, he was always there to support them and Gus, not just financially, even when he no longer had legal obligations to do so, he pracitaclly saved their wedding ceremony... what else could he have done to please them?

And the way the lashed at him when he resfused to 'play' Lindsay's husband so that Gus could get into kindergarden... that wasn't cool. I don't think he deserved that.

Good thing Justin was there to cheer him up :D

SojournHeart11 06-11-2013 11:09 AM

Sometimes M/L were really ungrateful.

galesgirl645 06-11-2013 03:07 PM

They really were at times, but Brian also didn't make it easy

SojournHeart11 06-11-2013 06:26 PM

Brian knew how to be difficult, that's for sure.

WildRose 06-12-2013 10:29 AM

What I don't like is how M/L behaved after Brian gave up his rights. They wouldn't allow him to see Gus as much as they said they would but on the other hand kept complaing he's not helping them. Plus they kept running crying (litterally ) to him when they wanted him to fix everything for them (such as the wedding or acting as Lindsay's husband ) without giving anything back.

Also I don't like the way Lindsay almost pushed Brian out the door (figurativly speaking...) so he would go to the white party and won't stay for their wedding. Brian wasn't so kin on weddings obviously but he was a close friend and helped so much orgenizing everything so she could have at least tried to convince him.

galesgirl645 06-12-2013 12:52 PM

Well she thought that him going to the white party was something that would make him happy.

SojournHeart11 06-12-2013 07:56 PM

I believe that she was trying to make Brian happy as well. It's just that she was using her encouragement as a vehicle to drive him out of that room, and quickly.

Why? I don't know

galesgirl645 06-13-2013 03:47 PM

She didn't think he was happy being at the wedding.
