Anyways, Brian pretty much showed his feelings there. All out in the open, for everybody to see them.

I think what happened on prom left a permanent imprint. I was refering to the diner scene of Brian/Ethan/Justin specifically. __________________ it's me

The beginning of S2 is pretty much stuck in my head and I will never forget the defeated expression on Brian's face when Jen sent him away. Whenever somebody mentions that scene, I get all sad and depressed...

| I love that scene! so beautifully heartbreaking. Brian is devastated and Jen isn't happy either about sending him away, even though she thinks it's for Justin's good. At that point she knows Brian does care and you can see she doesn't want to hurt him but feels like she has to, in order to protect her son. __________________

| Elite Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, I mean that must have been so hard for him seriously. He was the only one who saw it happen, and it was the night he had finally did something completely OOT for himself, to show something to Justin with that, and in his head that completely went against him. He was open to take care of him and was loving, also because he felt so guily for it all. But that scene is seriously heartbreaking. It shows he wanted him in his life, and wanted to make him better. But I liked how they still made Jen look vulnerable and likable and not characterize her as the demon. I mean as a mother, all that story must have been devastating. __________________ it's me | |||

| I never felt negative about Jen, not in season 1 and even less in that post bashing arc, when she didn't want Brian near Justin. I think Jen was always written quite amazingly, a mother who loved her son and was ready to do anything for him, even accepting to give him to another person, one she didn't even trust so much, if that was what it took to make him better. I think Brian always had a great respect for her and wished his own mom had been like that. And I think after Brian took care of Justin after the bashing, she grew to like him too. __________________

I mean I would understand it so difficult to literally ask this 30 year old to practically have his way with her 18 year old son, because she realized it was what he needed. I always get shivers when she tells him to touch him. It's so piercingly honest. __________________ it's me

| Elite Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | it must've been a really hard decision for her to make but she loved her son that much that she was willing to put the differences she had with Brian aside to help her son when she realized that Brian was the person who could help Justin and that says how much of a good mother she truly is. __________________ Adam: I'm a homosexual. | Elite Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I never hated Jen either. Of course she did what she thought was best for her son. I always understood her in that situation, but I still felt bad for Brian there. He wanted to help - whether from guilt or because he liked Justin a lot more than he was ready to admit - and he wasn't allowed to do that. Worse yet, he got sent away and was ordered to stay away. I mean, we've all seen what Brian went through right after the bashing. How he went to Babylon every single time and tried to numb himself from all these feelings. So, yeah, being told to stay away from Justin must have been a real kick in the gut then. Brian might have looked kinda unfazed when Jen told him to take care of Justin later on, but somehow I think that he was jumping up and down inside. ![]() | |||

He really wanted to help him, even the little things such as not leaving him alone too much in the flat, that was cute. __________________ it's me
