I'm wondering - the guy Justin made out with after having won the King of Babylon crown ... was he the first one apart from Brian or had there been others before?

And to answer your question- IDK if Justin had other guys because we didn't see him trick much in S1 other than dancing with some guys at Babylon here and there. I guess this guy was the first trick Justin sort of used to let Brian know he (Justin ) can play the game as well and that Brian can't take him for granted.

I don't think Justin could have had any emotional connection to any other guy. The only guy he felt attracted to physically and emotionally was Brian.

Try to put yourself in his place. You only had one partner so far and you know how he reacts, what he likes, how he smells and tastes. All your senses have been "branded" to that one and only person. Ideally you can "read" him blind

And now you are together with someone else, maybe topping for the first time.
Don't you think that it broadens your horizon? That it's more than just gathering experience?

And btw, being together with him all night -- meaning that both have liked it.

i was wondering if anyone knew what brian was saying to the two random babylon dancers while justin was looking at brian from across the floor.

mike was saying it's something we will never know but i could not recall if it was ever discussed.

Well, I can't exactly put myself in Justin's place because I'm not a 17 yrs old gay guy, you know... but I can understand Justin's need to 'explore' all the options.

Plus at that point Justin wasn't even remotly close to being Brian's partner and even though they had spent quite a few 'early evenings' together it still wasn't the same situation
it was in 121 (the KoB ep ) because by 121 Justin had already figured out so much about Brian and knew he had to do something so he wouldn't take him for granted and also to show him that he can play by the 'roles' as well (which meant tricking )

one interesting note, though is that in both cases ( the young trick at the museum and the trick at KoB ) Justin topped

We tend to think that Justin is so nice and innocent and we think of him as a little boy, especially in S1. He's very much part of the gay culture depicted in the show, attending clubs, bars and many things arranged by and for them. It can be quite a testosterone overload. We see Justin teasing Brian at Woodies with a condom between his teeth (the night Justin's mother came looking for him). I think after his first couple of times with Brian, he spread his wings and was flying.

I agree Justin felt like a kid in a candy store Plus Brian made it clear that he doesn't do boyfriends so Justin was enjoying the best of both worlds.

I think for Justin it became more than just a crash on Brian a bit later on in 107 when he got his nipple ring. Daphne was kind of joking with him telling him he shouldn't do that for Brian because he's not his bf and Justin of course gave the very Brian-esqu answer but I think he did it because it meant something to him. he wanted something intimate to share with Brian.

I agree with that. We must also remember the physical sex act does not necessarily involve emotion with many men. That's why some men will say "but it meant nothing" when they are confronted with infidelity. The same with our boys, it's physical, not emotional. Sex with tricks was a physical thing for Justin, with Brian however it was emotional (and physical ).

Another think I like is the evolution of Justin as a young gay teen. Justin obviously went through a proccess of accepting who he was and tried to discover the gay world way before he first steped into Liberty Ave that night. He wasn't 'active' but he had magazines and stuff and he knew who he was and what he wanted.
After he was lucky enough to be introduced to the wonders of the gay world curtsy of Brian Kinney he obviously felt that there's no such thing as enough but after a while he wanted more than that. He felt he wanted more than just meaningful sex wirh randon tricks.
