I love the wonderful double entente here for us (audience) that not even Brian could be expected to pick up on. B says something like, 'I've no idea why he dropped that lawsuit'. There's a line about how B will have to be more careful about who he f***s. Then J replies, "You don't know how lucky you are that I turn 18 next week!" That's when B jumps into the "what do u want for your b-day"
We, and we alone (not even Jen this time [w/B @ hospital]), knowing what J used to accomplish the deed, get to read into J words what he may actually be saying!

I agree that Justin noticed it too,despote the fact he lost his ability to "read" Brian at that point.

I was just rewatching 205 and I find it quite symbolic that when Justin sees that computure Brian brought him he says it's called false hope. Brian never gave Justin false hope, he always loved him and belived in him. he just didn't know how to put that into words. it was Ethan who gave Justin false hopes.IMO, and Justin belived them for a while.

I think by the second half of season 2 Justin was only focusing on the negative things that had to do with Brian.

Justin called the computer "false hopes" because he was really depressed over his difficulties in drawing again. I think it was pretty understandable. Fortunately though Brian bought it for him. He wouldn't let him give up. And with also the help of Lindsay, Justin tried and found a new way to keep being an artist.

That's a great episode for Justin. I love the people around him didn't let him give up on his dreams. He's born an artist, it would have been terrible for him to give that up.

I love that quote It was really a difficult time for Justin. It was normal that he would feel depressed and ready to give everything up. But fortunately Debbie, Brian, Lindsay, they all tried to make him see there was still hope.

I always get so emotional when Justin starts to draw Brian he was always his inspiration ,but than I can't balme him the man does have the body of a god

I think for Justin it was much more than Brian's beauty that made him want to draw him continuously. Probably in the beginning it was the lust, but later I think it became something more emotional.
