Agree!! I know someone whose reaction to the show was basically "ehhh" and that B/J didn't have that good chemistry and I was like--- ????

UGH. Lol. My BFF is interested in watching an episode with me but I'm not sure she'll be into it (she's not into M/M). I told her that if she doesn't like it it's okay, because she's entitled to her wrong opinion.

But seriously sometimes it's like...are we watching the same thing?! I saw some comments on YouTube about how QAF had "awful" or "terrible" acting. My fangirl rage was boiling up inside.

All I did was thumbs down their comments though.

Everyone perceives stuff differently, I suppose. But that's not how I perceived it at all. NOPE. If anything, they have too much chemistry.

In my eyes.. if anyone says that, the person haven't looked right.. or even stopped after the first few episodes.. I mean which show rocks from the first moment on.. everything is new and so it might not be all perfect.. and if a show doesn't get you.. you have to find hings to blame..

Everyone has their own perspective for sure, and ideas of what they're looking for in a show, etc. But wh-WHAT!? Too MUCH chemistry?!

And agreed - the beginning was definitely much more dramatic than the rest of the show, on purpose. I can see how people would think it was a bit much. That's why I'm a little hesitant to show it to my friends and have them judge it prematurely. I, however, was hooked from the first episode.

And I agree, too, that if people aren't satisfied they'll look for something to blame. And if people go into something not wanting to like it, they'll find a reason.

"Oh, Queer as Folk is super popular and I don't like things that are super popular. Hmm...well, the acting sucks!! Yeah, that's good..."
