Scott Lowell /Ted Schmidt #31 ~ Adoptable! Web Series is Here... Let's Give It a Few Cheers!
   Scott's Bio Scott Lowell is best known for his role as “Ted Schmidt” in Showtime’s popular and critically acclaimed Queer As Folk for which he was twice nominated for a Prism Award. The groundbreaking and provocative series originally ran in the U.S from 2000 –2005 and is currently airing in countries all over the world. Scott was born in Denver, Colorado and raised in the suburbs of New Haven, Connecticut. He majored in theater at Connecticut College and also studied acting at the National Theatre Institute (he was fortunate to study at both schools with the legendary Morris Carnovsky). He shortly moved to Chicago where over the course of a decade, he immersed himself in the local theater scene, including performances at the famed Steppenwolf and Goodman. He also landed his first TV role in Chicago on Early Edition. Scott moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and quickly found himself busy in a number of successful commercial campaigns, guest roles on sit-coms and a lead in a sci-fi television film. In 2000 he landed QAF and spent the next five years shuttling back and forth between LA and Toronto, Canada where the series was filmed. He also kept busy traveling around making speeches for a number of civil rights organizations (including the Human Rights Campaign) and political campaigns as well as appearing as a presenter and Host of a number of GLAAD Awards shows. Since QAF has wrapped Scott has appeared on stage at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, A Noise Within, Pasadena Playhouse, The Furious Theatre Company, Artists Repertory Theatre (Portland,OR), in a number of independent films and on the television series Bones where he has appeared as “Dr. Douglas Filmore” in multiple episodes as well as many other series (CSI, Castle, CSI:NY,NCIS, Heroes, Criminal Minds, Leverage) and as various voices in the animated series American Dad. He has also been hard at work writing screenplays on his own and with his writing partner, Eddie Jemison as well as developing ideas for television and the web including the series “Adoptable” and the podcast “CharActors!”. Scott also works as a mentor for the Young Story Tellers Foundation and raising awareness for the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute. Scenes with Ted or Emmett are always awasome, they never really pissed me off. Even something I didn't like, it never felt wrong with Ted (or Em).
When I'm looking at his pictures I'm sad there wasn't any more seasons. They could tell much more and teach us more and show more and fuc.king everything. He looked awasome now, like passing years didn't harm him in any way!  |

I've been having some fun little interactions with him on Twitter this week with the release of Adoptable. Has anyone else watched, yet?? Can we discuss? Yes, I always love when he likes or leaves replies to one of my comments, too. He's always been so courteous and open with fans.
He is quite pretty and has such beautiful, expressive eyes. I don't see why we can't start a fan list. I think we should.  ETA: Okay, I made the list. We've all been added. __________________

Well... I watched Adoptable last night, squeezed in all 6 episodes. And I it's just not enough for me... I want more!
One thing that threw me off is how short the episodes are. I thought they'd at least have 20 minutes run time, but we gotta remember this is a web series. Shorts are very common on this platform. Other than that, though, I'm thoroughly satisfied. It was so endearing to see Scott Fisherman come alive as he scopes out his birth parents.
