may I ask you a question? How do you make your stories pdf?? For example that "Spin and fall" I can't download it as a whole storie or as pdf... I would have to put it chapter for chapter on my kindle.....

I have to copy and save that one. I think I'm going to need to break that one out as needed.

Daggi: With a story that is only posted on LJ or Moon Shadow Tribe and no download is available…just open a new Word document, then you'll have to copy/paste each chapter individually. In the end, when you go to save the document, choose Save As then PDF.

Once that's done, you can email the file directly to your device via your Kindle email address. You know how in the beginning you entered your email as an approved sender? This is how it's done.

Its even easier through Midnight Whispers. For example…take this story: I have not read it. It warns of Major Character Death and I'm not sure who it is, but…

When you go to the story, there is a little printer icon next to reviews. Click on that and it will open up a new page and printer page. Instead of clicking Print…save PDF and it will format all of the chapters for you. Save it, then you can email it to your device.

On AO3, you are able to download various file formats directly from the story page.

Oh thanks Deborah for the help! I have to look if I can save it as pdf with ope office... if its not possible I just hafe to do it on my normal PC or at work

I will see hat the story is about... not sure about Charater death, but I don't mind reading it... maybe but only once

I don't think it's B/J, because there is a sequel. I've never used anything other than a PC to save and convert stories.

If you want me to make one for you in the meantime, I can.

I mostly sit with my laptop in front of my TV and on that laptop I only have open ofice, cause my old office package doesn't run with windows 8

but my "old" big PC, that stands on the other wall and that I use to copy things or burn CDs does have my old office package on it. I know I'm a bit complicated

I'd love to have that "Spin and Fall" but if you're not feeling well I give it a try toomorrow or later I have some other stories to read left so there's no hurry

You mentioned the story called "yellow brick road" before... is that the story from plumsuede you sent to me? its included in two other titles, or is it a stand alone story?

I love AO3 .. it was the first fanfic site I found! MW .. have to trawl through to find the good stuff!!

Not that everything on AO3 is brilliant but .. I re~read that stupid fkd up Gale falling in love with Justin fic again last night ...

Daggi ~ DO NOT read anything with a MCD warning .. it usually means Brian, Justin or Mikey ... How can people kill these characters off .. .. go and pick on some other fansite!!!!!

I did it twice and one was mildly amusing, but not really .. a dead Justin who haunted the loft .. and a traumatic Brian/Mikey married fic where Brian dies! I won't EVER do that to myself again!! It's a horrible feeling.
