Randy as Winthrop Paroo with Catherine Andruskevich as Winthrop's mother (the River City, Iowa librarian Marion Paroo) backstage at the Actorsingers Community Theater 1987 production of The Music Man in Nashua, New Hampshire. Randy performed solos in two songs: "The Wells Fargo Wagon" and "Gary, Indiana"

I am not aware of any videos of his early performances other than the one from The Music Man that has been circulating on the internet for years and I think might also be on youtube. The performance I would love to see is Randy as "The Courier" singing "Mama Look Sharp" in the St. Louis Municipal Theater 1999 production of 1776 |

sadly back then it wasn't common to record all those things.. and today we would be happy if not everything would be recorded in the world

Oh that is great that you have that
I know.. to do something without permission was barley able.. I remember when my sister and I smuggled a cassetterecorder into an Indiana Jones movie in the movie theatre to record the dialogs on tape and you had to switch sies in between without trying to make a noise not to speak about the bad quality so to record a play was nearly impossible, unless it as allowed, and still the quality, if not made professionally, was poorly.. oh what happened to those times.. and am I really that old already? we have to be thankful that pics and some recordings exist __________________

Thanks Mark. I love that the only Justin pic you used was the top left. I appreciate your collage skills so much and they've been missed.
Hopefully we'll get more Randy content soon. __________________

Thanks Mark for the gorgeous collage. You really captured perfectly the nuances within his facial expressions that makes him so riveting to study... from the serious to the lighthearted and happy.
