On Stage Across America, March 2016
March 2nd show on Time Warner Cable News stations (broadcast across the country) Segment on the Cabaret National Tour starts at 4:59. They have taken clips from Randy's and Alan Cumming's performances and interspersed them with the cast interviews that were done for the media preview just before the show went on the road. There are some new silent clips of Randy performing "Money Makes the World Go Round" That segment is followed by a fascinating interview with 84 year Joel Grey who originated the Emcee role in 1966, regarding his new memoir Master of Ceremonies Last edited by varo_kamry; 03-03-2016 at 02:29 PM Reason: added collage |

Mark, I absolutely love that collage, but OMB, thank you so much for posting that vid ..
.. not least for the clips of Randy on stage! But seriously, that interview with Joel Gray was so open and honest and brought tears to my eyes .. and it really makes me want read his autobiog. I've recently ordered Alan Cumming's autobiog too because he really intrigues me ... Thank you so much sweet man for posting all these wonderful articles, I honestly don't know what this thread would do without you. __________________

Another collage. Credit to the Italian fansite for the screencaps
and a rather mixed review from the Des Moines Register - the city's daily newspaper. The reviewer liked Randy but only gave him one sentence. Review: Racy 'Cabaret' races to a stunning end Bare-chested Randy Harrison (of “Queer as Folk” fame) has a fine turn as the hedonistic emcee. |

Love the collage hun, even if it is a bit fuzzy! Randy is just so beautiful as the Emcee .. I absolutely love him with all that make~up on!
That last review read more like a précis than a review .. it felt (to me) that the reviewer was a bit bemused by the show and didn't quite know how to approach his article .. so opted for something anodyne. __________________

Yes. The reviewer seemed more intent on talking about the audience reaction to the stunning ending. Apparently they gave the cast a standing ovation and at least she did mention "bare-chested" Randy positively I know the Des Moines media market is smaller that Chicago, but I'm amazed that only one review of the performance has appeared so far and I've been doing internet searches every day |

One thing about taking this on tour around the US is that I'm learning all the names of the local press in the cities they're visiting and, don't ask me why, but I love that! __________________

An interview with Randy in advance of the show's move to Louisville, Kentucky
Randy Harrison has a career that spans stage and screen. He is perhaps most widely known for his role as Justin Taylor on the Showtime series “Queer as Folk,” which ran from 2000 to 2005. Randy is making his way to Louisville next week, performing the salacious role of the Emcee in the new touring production of “Cabaret” March 8 through the 13 at The Kentucky Center. We caught up with Randy to get a little more insight into his career and what we can expect from Roundabout Theatre Company’s exciting new show. Spotlight: Randy Harrison from “Cabaret" |

Finally...another review from Iowa
The outrageous and eccentric part was brought to life in Des Moines by Randy Harrison. He is a phenomenal talent and commanded the stage when he was performing. Life’s a Cabaret | Newton Daily News |
