The original staging of the musical (1966) on which the movie was based was a bit tame compared to the revival that Messrs Cummings, Hall, Stamos and Harris have starred in. Particular in the character of the Emcee who is more kinky and sexual than the way he was originally portrayed by Joel Grey. BTW, the Roundabout Theater's production on Broadway was done cabaret style at Studio 54 upstairs over 54 Below.

There is a tweet from Rise N Shine saying Randy will be there. But, you never know. If I bought tickets to the Las Vegas show and he wasn't performing, I'd be upset. I wonder if they announce understudy days in advance?

Larry Murray is a friend. I first met him at Randy's QWAN performance at the Colonial Theater in Pittsfield, MA. I sent him my collage when he posted his article in Berkshire On Stage and Screen
