Ohhhh! That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for clearing that up.

And that's cool! I've been seriously considering moving to Colorado. It's so beautiful out there. Have you been?

I live on the east coast now too, but have been to CO a few times and have family there now too. It has great hiking, beautiful mountains in parts and of course skiing if you like that. It just seems so clean there!

Hello, fellow east coaster! I've been here my whole life and am ready for a change in scenery. yes, CO has such fresh air! Went to visit a couple of years ago and loved it. Crazy awesome mountains, clear blue skies...

Been to Colorado twice Once years ago when my sister still lived in Arizina, we did a trip starting from Denver, crossing over Fourcorners to visit her. It is so much like my home here in colorado. Weather and mountains and the second time to visit her. Sadly I didn't make it over to her place more often, but that has different reasons. It truly is a beautiful place.. but it seems they are leaving it.. which doesn't mean I'm not going there anymore

I've never been to Colorado...I live in Florida. We're looking into our next family reunion potentially being there, but not sure where the best place to go in the summer will be. Out of 20 of us, there are only 2 skiers, so we will avoid anything that will cause injuries.

I did a roadtrip a few years ago that went from Colorado to Utah, through Nevada and California, then stayed in Oregon for a week, went up into Washington state for a day, back to Oregon, and then back to Colorado. That was amazing. I'd love to visit Arizona! All those desert states are so beautiful.

I love Florida, too! I was considering moving there for quite a while, actually. But we've had a heat wave this week in MD, and I'm like ehhh, do I really want this, but worse? So beautiful there, though. And I always get great vibes when I visit.

What's the weather/scenery like in Germany?

Chris ~ I'm living in the southeast of Germany, a part called Bavarian Forrest. Landscape .. a little bit of Canada and Colorado, but our mountains aren't that high. I try to find some pics to post in the OT thread later. Weather.. in winter we are called little Sibiria, cause it can start to get cold and snowy in October an it can stay that aay till may. summers are normally not too hot (around 90s)and can be rainy sometimes.. not this year. almost 100 every day for weeks and no end in sight.. and whats worse. almost no rain.. my poor lawn, even the old one, is almost brown everywhere..

Oh no. I think we've got all your rain this year. It's seriously been randomly thunderstorming nearly every day for the past few months...which is WEIRD for this area. We had some serious flooding issues a month or two ago, also...a couple of different times. What's going on with the weather this year?!

That scenery sounds beautiful, though. I'll have to check out the OT thread! And yikes...that much winter...
