The Queer As Folk and Penny Dreadful forums are entering into a posting challenge for the month of December!

At the end of December the forum with the most posts wins!

The winner will be determined through the official site-wide post counts posted by Jerry, the site Administrator.

Posters who wish to participate will submit their names so that each board will have a participant list.

Once the competition has ended, those people on the list at the winning board will win a custom title.

Please note that everyone is welcome to join us. All posts count.
Only posters on the list will receive a custom title for the month of December if we win.

*This is the part where I tell you guys about the little show that could! Our members are few, but we are mighty. We love Queer As Folk with a passion and even though our show ended 9 years ago, we are still going strong. But we only have small handful of posting members. THIS IS WHY WE NEED ALL OF YOU! It doesn't matter if you're not familiar with Queer As Folk…there are many games you can play or just show up in OT and we can hang out and chat.

We're not going to get more people to post more, we have to do it with the persistent group we have.

Jeepers, I've done almost 400 posts today and we're still 700 behind!!

I think we all are ~ and I'm going to calm down now. I can't keep this up for the next month.

It's great that the posts so far this week have pushed us even closer to the 400,000k celebration and that will certainly happen during the anniversary month ~ which is soooo brilliant!

So, I'm back to concentrating on QaF ~ as I should be doing for the anniversary.

The music thread is a cool idea. However, I'm not sure how that will help numbers. THat would be a great thread to have in general though.

We can do a last letter game…in addition to the 2 last letters game.

What other short games do you want?

We have a great group. And Debs…you're a demon poster, and VERY much appreciated! Everyone is giving this all they can. Look what we've done so far…its freaking AH~MAZING!

Remember…just because we're down now, doesn't mean it will stay that way!

This is a great anniversary!

P.S. I'm not giving up. I have kids, pets, husband, home…but I like this!

I'm not giving up hun, but it is the anniversary and I don't want to lose the importance of that achievement. I don't think we've resorted to mindless postings yet and I wouldn't want us to. But Leah's right, we are wordy people, and there's always so much we want to say about these gorgeous boys.

So I will post as often as I can given that I'm moving in less than three weeks!! I've done nothing today but post! and it's been soooo great, but I can't keep it up!! Much as I want to!!!

I still think we should have a free~for~all thread so that no~one has to think about letters of the alphabet or starting words with a specific letter .. they can just post QaF thoughts at random as they slip in and out of people's hearts and minds!

Our post count so far this week is phee~nom~inal and like I said, it means we'll hit the 400k during this anniversary celebration! I think way back when, I said it would be late January when we got there!

I agree that we should not ignore real life. Personally, I'll be out for ½ the day tomorrow and I certainly don't expect anyone to pick up in my absence. That's just crazy.

It's supposed to be fun. So…if we have time to crazy post…cool, but if not…that's fine too.

I'm still going to do rounds when I'm on though.
