I did like that Hal mentioned Heath Ledger acknowledging QAF for doing it (gay scenes) first, before Brokeback Mountain. Otherwise, I thought his tone was a little off-putting.

My immediate reaction to reading Hal's comments was that he was trying to back-pedal on some of his comments from the past to come out (!) as a nice guy again.
I like Hal and he's a brilliant stand-up comedian but when it comes to QaF, he's totally Mikey-esque and he should give more thought to what comes of his mouth before it does! __________________
