 ETA: Someone asked Peter how many episodes will Season 5 have, and he said there will be 18 episodes. Which is pretty long. __________________

Yeah, for some reason, I thought it was longer than the other ones. It's not. The number of episodes from previous seasons have been longer... like 20-21 episodes.

I agree with Denise. It's usually longer. Only by a few episodes, but that's cutting out 3-4 hours of content.

That's true...
sometimes a conclusion being solved within the same episode can be anti-climatic. Let's keep the tension building and people on edge until the show returns.  __________________

The Fosters always ends with a cliff-hangar...a pretty serious one! I just hope they'll know if they get a S6, this way they can conclude the story.
At ATX, Peter mentioned that usually shows run their course in 5 seasons. Quote:
