In non-related-but-relevant-QAF news, an L Word reunion/reboot has been greenlit, as we ALL may or may not know. Very happy for all those involved with the original show and for the fans who wanted this. Being that QAF is like the predecessor of the L Word, I wonder how this will affect the decision over at Showtime to possibly reboot QAF. I'm still not crazy about the idea of a reboot, but if either one of these are done right, it could be a hit once again.

I'm not really a fan of the reboot either, I'd rather stick to the many fanfics that continue the story.. honestly I would be a bit frightend about it that it doesn't turn out the way I would love to see

but what would be worse is a remake

that is just absolutly impossible in my eyes

I would be so heartbroken if they made a reboot that didn't honor the original vision of the show. That's what I'm scared of, too.

I would not mind QAF reboot only under one condition - Brian and Justin would be still together, if not settled down than at least in some kind of relationship, maybe even as Cowlip metioned in 2015 in Austin: "that they bought house in Provence, Justin became very successful and they bought this lovely house in Provence where they spend every summer, Christmas, New Year.....they go to London, Paris, see each other on weekends." But I would not survive if they would separate them. In that case i prefer to stick to fanfiction also.

they endured throughout the original, canonical series version. They certainly deserve that happy ever after.

Wouldn't it depend if the actors were willing to return, too?

I think that wouldn't stop them to do it... it would just destroy the hopes fans who want to have it put into the reboot.. so.. nope.. I'm not sure at all if I want one...

Yes, its probably better they dont do it, because it seems actors and writers are not so invested in the characters as intensely as fans are and they would probably not honour wishes of majority of fans about future development of their journeys. And actually I think it wont happen anymore. In 2015 all actors agreed they would participate if there was a reboot but nothing happened since then so chances are very low. And although ending in 513 is not ideal, it could have been much worse and imagine what they could come up with, even some characters death etc. So better to stick to our ideal fanfiction world.

Definitely. I think most of them are up for it, but there may be one or two who are either undecided or isn't returning.
