Yes, Vic felt like he wasn't doing anything to help, and what's sad is that he didn't think he would get hired due to his health.

That is so true, but right at that moment, he expected her to be on Craigs side.. I guess he thought she must feel about Craig the same way he felt for Brian, so it was logical

That's true, though. And he most likely still saw his mom as a traitor for telling Craig in the first place. But still, what is a concerned parent to do?

Michael's trying to move up in position. The one thing I can say about Michael is that he cared enough about his mom to want to bring in more money so he could help her.

I think the image of being a second dad to Justin set him off a bit
