hmmm... if you clean it up properly afterwards the snow shouldn't be the problem, but the cold and the permanent change of cold to arm and back does make it sound not good, and you have to adjust it every single time..... that is not funny....

Instruments warp…a any wood, for that matter, due to extreme weather and moisture. My hubby is a guitar player and the necks can bend, which is very expensive to fix.

Actually, that's more common than it seems. There are always street performers out here playing for change on corners and park areas with the continuous threat of moisture. But no sooner than it rains, they usually hurry up and put their instruments away.
