I'm watching 4.04 TO-NIGHT, and then I am going to come in here and write a post it. Guaranteed. I have so many pent-up thoughts I want to get off my chest.

Season 4, Episode 4
All right, everyone, I just concluded my viewing of QAF 4.04. Most Favorite Quote: "It's nothing you haven't heard before. He did drugs, f around, hit rock bottom, regrets it deeply. Let's go" ~ Brian Funniest Quotes: Justin ~ The old steam rooms... first place we've ever F d in public. Brian ~ Ah, there's nothing like performing for a live audience. Justin ~ Who said most of those guys were alive? "Oh, and Theodore, if you F up, I'll have you murdered" ~ Brian "Dude, you need to take a chill pill" ~ Hunter ................................................... HA HA! I love how Debbie put Emmett on the spot and pointed out those very obvious grass stains on his pants. I am sure all the surrounding patrons could guess how that got there. too. Not that they'd really care, as they've probably done the same. Hunter giving Emmett "expert advice" on where to have quickies at (i.e, in alleyways, under stair cases, back of trucks...) I cannot with this show sometimes. Michael arranging those flowers on the dining table has got to be one of the most random, out of character things he has ever done. Than again pressure sometimes drives us to do certain things that is not like us all the time. He was really freaking out about the very eminent meeting between them and the social worker. In a way, his fumbling around makes apparent an unspoken desire to win guardianship over Hunter, which kinda suggests how both he and Ben care about the well-being of Hunter. Why did the only love scene between Brian and Justin have to end so ridiculously? It started off promising enough with the moaning and the bj, but then Justin began acting all power-crazed and dominant. This became essentially nude wrestling, but with lots of unpleasant tension. The look you get when you ask your friend to borrow his pad for a few hours of erotic fun. Oh, to have been on the other side of this scathing glare. If looks could kill-- Yikes! But Emmett got the message loud and clear and left with Trent to be anywhere else but in front of that threatening glare, and quite frankly, I do not blame them My, I never thought Wertshafter's name would ever resurface after episode 1 of season 2, but here we are. But don't worry, that brief mention only acts as a plot device to get Teddy back into the accounting game, luckily for him. I really felt sorry for Melanie here. It's evident she really poured her heart and soul into bringing justice to Jennette and Ann's custody battle case involving their son. She obviously did not have the heart nor the capacity to work for something so hard only to have it ripped away by that ever-troubling bureaucratic judicial system. Unfortunately, this was one of those instances of "It is what it is and there is not much to do about it" situations rearing its ugly head. In giving in, it almost makes it seem as though Melanie was compromising her values, but she had her clients to think about and not so much herself. That is honorable, but that cannot be an easy thing to give up. Okay, however many times I may have watched the scene... when Emmett's lover starts howling at the top of his lungs during the height of pleasure, I almost always split my sides from laughing so hard. Like WTF was that? Emmett looks a bit horrified, too. The beginning of Brian and Teddy's budding friendship. I do not think I could have asked for a more likely friendship than theirs. And the timing for it was so perfect, you really cannot help but marvel at how much of a dynamic duo they make. It seems that after four seasons, they would have already formed a solid partnership... but no, it took Ted thinking up a password on the spot for Brian to take notice of his abilities. Yes, a mere password is all it took to bring them closer together. But it happened, and that is all that counts. *sigh* As we all know, there is something vaguely sexual about the dialogue here. I swear it always feels like they've just been intimate, and we're now coming in on their post-sex talk. That is literally how much intellectual chemistry Brian and Ted have here. Ted's moment of realization when this lady at the Italian restaurant says: "You've got a nice voice, young man, but if you ask me you should have been an accountant. It's in your blood". So basically what Brian just said a few scenes before, but this comes from a complete stranger with no ties to him whatsoever. Thus causing him to regain some of the confidence he lost a while ago. ................................ As a viewer, I really could have done without that part in the end where Cody and Justin scope out trouble with the heteros, it was completely unnecessary. Yeah, sure, they were blatant homophobes who thought they were the only ones who deserved to engage in PDA (their PDA bugs me more, BTW), but did Cody really have to pull a gun out on them? NO! If anything, that might have gotten them even deeper in hot water had the circumstances leaned that. And I am just so aversed to the fact that a gun had to be incorporated into a sex scene of theirs. Just Yuck. I guess acting reckless got their blood flowing, as strange as that is. Boy, what a kink to have. Never did like Cody's weird tactics. __________________

Denise you did a brilliant job here thank you very much.. and the screencaps in between are a wonderful idea
I love the choice of quotes you made.. Hunter in my eyes has some of the best, and his interaction with all the others are always briliant Emmett and his howling trick no wonder he looked so shocked since he wasn't alowed to bring him home and I loved the way he communicated with Brian, only a look being enough as an answer... I guess he was just trying his luck , cause he knows Brian well enough to see it coming.. Brians look just seems to say "honsetly? you dare to aks me that? And I too that the friendship, Brian had with Ted became deeper... Brian was honest with him all the time how he felt about Ted, and he knew exactly that he not just gave him a new job and a new start out in his life, he also knew that Ted was loyal and good to trust for his business.. Well.. Justin and Cody... I don't like how Cody has so much bad influence in Justins behaviour... and I do feel akward too about the turning of the intimate scene with Brian into that in my eyes unneccessary naked wresteling, no matter how hot it might look.. and the thing with the weapon porn.... nope.. I can't imagine Justin, who was so against using a weapon, getting turned on by it that way.. ok the give you power, and power can be erotic in a way, but Codys kinks are really sometimes a bit strange... __________________
