I loved Temptation of Snakes and for the same reason you mention. Actually I love when stories go this way and when psychology is an important part of it.

I once went to a counsellor .. not because I wanted to but because everyone around me said that I should .. and I lasted for three sessions .. and the counsellor herself acknowledged that she had no experience of my experience and was therefore at a loss as to how best to advise me ..

Sorry Irina, I'm not equating what you do with counselling .. just in reference to the psychology of the fanfic.

But I have to say that if we've all read the same fics shouldn't we at least try to have some sort of discussion about them?

I think that's a great idea! I'm almost finished with Love Will Win, then I want to read Temptation again. I absolutely ADORE Sapphire's stories. And I love that she doesn't just present the problem and then miraculously they're all better. There's a very long process to recovery in ED's, so I'm glad she doesn't gloss over it.

The sequel. It's going really slowly. Like I told you yesterday, it's like reading a laundry list. I'm just trying to get through it right now. I'm determined to finish.
