I feel that's what is happening to. Any previous events attended by members in the last 5 years or so was probably its peak period.

It sure is not just the cast.. if you can pay them enough they will show up, but for that you need to have enough fans who are willing and able to attend, so that the price stays affordable.. is that not given, the organiser would habe to pay himself or make ridiculous high prices.. which leads to only special people are able to attend.. andcwe are back to those private events..

That's understandable. The organizers would have to come out of pocket to suit the expenses, and that's just not a chance they want to take. I'm going to miss the more public conventions, but I understand if they've had to scale it down.

It's still sad

It's okay. Certain things are just not meant to come into your life until a special time, so better having found it later than never. Watched the show last night and I still very much love the show just the same.
