Hey girls - well I have been away for a while - thanks to the D & A that plagues me. I haven't been to work in two weeks and have been sitting around not doing very much. It has seemed to be too hard to do too much but tonight I am feeling better so I am trying to write a bit tonight

Tonight I have also cleaned up my study, put some dishes in the dishwasher, paid some bills and now I am on here. I am hoping to go to bed at a normal hour instead of staying up all night and sleeping all day like I did today

Anyway, I hope you are all going well and things are ok with you all. I have been trying to pop in and read some things but probably haven't caught up on everything. So yeah hope all is well

Hey everyone!

So...yesterday was a really good day at the March For Our Lives event. The counts are around 15,000 peaceful protesters in my small city.

BUT...when it was our time (Safety Marshall's) to fall in with the end of the line, I tripped along the way, fell onto the concrete and ended up in the E.R. Nothing is broken, but it feels like my ribs are cracked. It only hurts when I breathe, cough or move. :face_palm:

I've been resting today.

That absolutely sucks, Deborah. I'm sorry you got hurt. I replied in the other thread, too, but I had no idea it happened just as you were to lead. I imagine that the impact to concrete must have really hurt... ow. What did the X-rays show? Wishing a very speedy recovery and relief from the injuries.

an other week started.. and it still doesn't really feel like springtime, although yesterday the sun was out and it was a beautiful day with birds singing and the first flowers blooming.. but honestly? -2 C don't fell like spring.. and they said it's going to snow again druring the week...

Claudia ~ which shows did you watch?

I was at a friends on saturday evening and we spent a nice evening. the rest of thje weekend I spent working and cleaning.. oh and we had our sprinforward on the clocks on saturday.. I'm still tired.. I really don't know why that is neccessary...

Yeah...the time change makes no sense to me. There had to be a purpose for it and sounded like a good idea at the time, but we should just get rid of it.

Hey Daggi. The spring forward thing has never made much since to me either. It hardly accomplishes its intended purpose: to save energy.

and they all know that.. I don't care which time they keep, I just think it's annoying to change all clocks twice a year..

the craziest statement they said today was, that nobody cares about a timechange when you go on vacation in my eyes that is somethin completly different.. because you normally hav a little bit of time left after you come home to adjust.. and don't have to get up an hour earlier then regularily... or can't sleep, cause you are an hour early...

I'm home from work earlier than usual all of this week the children are on spring break so I'll be seeing my clients mostly during the day.

I watched the newest once upon a time episode and continued watching this Spanish show called El Ministerio del Tiempo (the ministry of time).

Hey Deborah - glad you had a good time as a marshal but sorry you hurt your foot - hope it's feeling better now. Or getting better at least


Daggi - we call that daylight savings over here where we change the clocks. Each state in Australia does something different so some change and some don't. There is a lot of debate over here because some people want it and some don't so there is debate every year about whether we need it or not.


Claudia - it must be good to be able to do most of your clients in the day time at the moment


Ok so news from me - my boss sent me an email today saying he wanted to talk to me about continuing to work at his school as I have been away too much. So I don't know what I am going to do and I don't know what to say back to him My husband is being very supportive but it is hard to know what to do at the moment.
