True blood I have to admit has some cheesy moments

I actually like the accent. It's not what bothers me. I just never liked her acting and I don't particularly like the direction she took with Sookie. If someone else was playing that part, I'd be totally watching.

Yeah and I hate watching shows randomly, too. I'll give it a proper look once the DVDs are out (this summer probably, right?). Same with Chuck.

And erm... I don't like JJ. I think he has brilliant ideas and his TV shows always start strong, but then it drifts into stupidity because he doesn't seem to know what to do with his initial story anymore.

I don't like True Blood that much, I love the books though...which is probably why I hate the show

They totally ruined Sookie who was such a strong character. And I don't like Anna for this part (I liked her in other stuff), she's not good as Sookie imo. I also hate B/S in the books and they're obviously the OTP of the show

Ha, no I get what you're saying. I think he's firstly a fantastic director, and creator. I think he is pretty much crazy all over which I kinda like. I like his creativity and his diversity in stuff though. I mean I pretty much loved the majority of what he did, especially Felicity and Alias. I gave up on Lost but it's because it's too complicated for me not because I didn't like it.

I haven't read the books so that's probably why I prefer the show and I do ship B/S

I gotta finish reading them. I think I'll just print them out, because I have trouble focusing on books that I don't have in my hands. e-books are fun, but I still prefer the good old ones.

I was quite shocked when I saw Anna/Stephen RL photos. Damn. They just look rough (especially him).

I gave up on Lost, too. But mostly because of what I've been saying about JJ's "style" - the show drifted into gazillion new directions, lost its focus and in the end, I feel like they don't know what they're doing with their stories anymore, so they're multiplying new plots just to get some extra time.

Claudia, you can't prefer the show if you haven't read the books

You like the show but you can't like it better than something you don't know

For a couple that's dating they don't have much chemistry onscreen. Anna has way more chemistry with the guy who plays Eric. If they were going by the books I would be happy...but they don't
