I sometimes felt sad for Georgi he seemed to be such a sensitive guy and John was brought up is such a rough enviroment.. I noticed that there were a lot of occasions where I would have said thank you, but nothing came from the whole family.. It almost seemed John never experienced real love before

I wanted to watch it again today, but my internet wasn't cooperating.. maybe I manage to watch tonight on my tablet

I just read back a bit of this thread.

Love, Simon was great. I read the book at the beginning of this year and loved it. The movie was done well. Changed a few parts but it was such a good movie.

I've been recommended Skam, I'm going to check it out as well. And that movie, God's Own Country, sounds great, I'll have to find it as well!!

Deborah - I looked up SKAM but there seemed to be lots of different things on YouTube and I didn't know where to start with it - any suggestions of what I should look for to find the first season or season 3 if you think that's the one we would like?

Glad you could see it I really liked it and it was just a teen rom-com except the guy was gay - it was still just a normal happy story Well by the end it was

I knew there was a book but I haven't read it yet. So I am not sure how close the book and movie are to each other but if the book is like the movie it would be good

There are some differences that the movie made, yeah. But I didn't think they were too bad.
