I tried to watch "Were the World Mine". It received 4 stars...BUT I didn't really enjoy it. I love all things Shakespeare and thought I'd be hooked...NOT so much though. I got the message it was trying to convey to the masses. However, it didn't do it for me. The lead actor Doc from one of my fav movies "Getting Go" stars in the movie but I wasn't feeling it.

Thanks for the review! I have that on my "Watch List" because of that actor. So now I'll push it to the back.

Yes the list is from the last OP. I would really like to change it because I know for a fact that many of those listed are NOT LGBT. IMO…just because there is a gay person in a movie, that doesn't make it LGBT themed.

Maybe we can add links to sites like Backlot lists and other movie sites. Plus put together our own list, including the pertinent films from the list.

Also…we can list LGBT TV shows if we want.

There's this charming little movie I watched, and it's called Better Than Chocolate".... anybody heard of that one? It's about these two lesbians who fall in love, and just thought the story was very beautiful. Watched it about 3 times in full.

I've enjoyed searching and experiencing the different type of LGBT movies out there. I like the really deep movies that tackle sensitive issues. I can't stand the ones that always seem to end with the couple NOT being together at the end. It's frustrating.
