Trish (toto_too) went again last night and she reported that they have stream-lined the play during the previews and seem to have it where they want it. Unfortunately one of the scenes they cut was the one in the Berlin Cabaret. So enjoy Randy in the tuxedo via the photo

He's young Army Air Force pilot Paul Tibbits in those military uniform photos. Trish says she wishes they had a photo of him as the older Colonel Paul Tibbits at the time he piloted the plane that dropped the atom bomb on Hiroshima,wearing a bomber jacket and white scarf

I can answer that question for you about the dancing. Unfortunately, while Randy does sing in other scenes - including his duet with Jeremy and in a later scene with Jeremy and Sarah as he sits up high on the stage, waiting to drop the bomb from the Enola Gay as Paul Tibbets - there is NO more dancing.

What a shame they cut this! He looked so hot in that tux. During the scene, he dances both alone and with his female, blond co-star, and in a couple of spots he kind of throws his head back seductively and slides his hand up the singer's leg (along with the other dancers) as the guy is singing on top of a table in a Berlin nightclub. Poignantly reminded me of Ep 222 on QAF. Hope that helps. So glad I got to see this before they cut it out.

Yes, I did see it 3X. I initially was only going to see it twice, but someone from Twitter wanted to know if I would go on Saturday, so I dragged my 13-year-old nephew there with me again for that one, too. He was such a good sport about it. By the time we had left town, he actually knew some of the dialogue by heart, and loved the "Holes in the Doughnuts" song - ha!

I try to see his play as much as I can whenever I go, because I normally can't go back there to see it again, since it's so expensive to travel there. Would love to see the last playing of the show in August, but it looks doubtful.
