 Maybe we should go to one of his plays, talk to him afterwards and ask him about the tv stuff, and if he says that he isn't planning to do anything like that...we just start crying. Maybe it helps?  Or we could try to find Gale and talk to him to pleeeease talk to Randy. __________________

I'm pretty sure that I would probably start hysterically laughing instead of crying and give me some coke to drink before the play and I'd probably blurt something like "please Randy with naked Gale on top"

I won't say that Randy will NEVER do tv again, but the odds are very slim. (for right now anyway) I say that because once you've seen him on stage and how amazingly talented he is up there, you know the stage is where he belongs. It's what he's been training for since a young age and it definitely shows. My friend said that if he went back to doing tv he'd be wasting his talent and I have to agree with her.

Yeah I mean stage is one thing and I'm more than happy that he's growing up as an actor and realizing his dreams but doing a good movie can be an accomplishment too. Just in a different way than stage.

Last week when we met Randy after a performance of Amadeus, my friend asked him what his next project would be and he said he didn't know. He was asked to join a company that will be doing a nationwide tour of the play A Midsummer Night's Dream starting in the fall. When asked if he was going to do that, he said he hadn't decided yet. Since he's done 2 plays back to back he'll probably take the rest of the summer off and then decide what to do next.
So those of you on here who live within the US, don't think you'll never get a chance to see him on stage. If he decides to go with them on tour, they could be performing someplace you could go and see him. |
