In other news, Hal owes me a hug now. :D Watched his show today and asked if I could sign up for a Hal hug and he was like, "Yes of course you can, I love giving out hugs!"

I'm not sure that I would like to be hugged by Hal. I don't mind Michael, but Hal I have no love for. Sorry. However, I love his declarations of love for his wife. That makes him jump up for my respect meter. :nod:

Although, I also love his political opinions. Not to say that he's always factual, but I love that he stands for what he believes in and doesn't fall for anything. :love:

I was a Hal Sparks fan first. Grateful to have discovered him, and then in turn, QAF, because of him.

Honestly, it's because of how he has spoken out about Gale in the past (even sort of recent with the water bucket challenge).

Please know this is my opinion and I mean no offense. I saw Hal for the first time on VH1, and thought he was adorable and funny. :nod:

Ahh, I was wondering if that might be it. That stuff wasn't cool, that's for sure. But I'd gotten the impression that they'd made up over the years. I did see the ice bucket challenge thing and while it was touchy, I didn't think it was as malicious as some others did, just his sense of humor.

I'm honestly surprised that they were able to lie just inches from each other for the Entertainment Weekly spread. I certainly think a lot of strife happened between them, but like the true professionals would do, they put all that aside and posed for EW Magazine.

As far as Hal's words for Gale around the time of the accident... we can forgive it but we cannot forget it. I personally think Hal is a cool guy, but he should always stay mindful of the words that come out about his former co-stars. And whatever happened between them has to be put to rest by the both of them on their own terms. We don't get to decide, unfortunately.

It's a tough and disheartening situation. I do hope they've reconciled though.

It totally isn't cool to talk that way about someone you worked with for so long, no matter how you may be that they were a more beloved character than you. But I was taking the EW shoot as evidence that they've at least reconciled enough to work together in some capacity again, considering how many events were held before that in which both were never at together.

And if they can work it out and forgive, true, never forget - but still.

Umm yeah, I think that's a fair assessment of the situation and why he said the things he said, not that it excuses it of course.

But yes, it does look that they at least reconciled.
