but sometimes its not rtustworthy.. just thinking about some spanish translations that make me cringe :lol:

To learn a language I would say you need not just the reading of the words, you too need the hearing of it.. so a book alone wouldn't do the trick.. :shrug:

I agree - I read your words and try and say them out loud how I think they would sound but I don't know if I'm doing it properly :) Pity we can't put sound files on here :)

I bet if I spent a few months in Germany, I could pick up on the language. 🤔

Best way to do it :) I'm dreaming of a white Christmas :) Would be nice to spend some time over in Europe or America having a white Christmas - of course if I want to learn some language it should be Europe :)

But even in europe it is hard to get a white christmas nowadays... :( I'm glad it snowed so much the last days, cause it is raining all day today and it shoud get warmer til sunday.. but we should be lucky that it stays white this year over christmas

Oh really? I am surprised to hear that - if I want a white Christmas I will have to go to Canada or the North of America then - I could try and use some French in Canada :) Not that I actually know very much :)
