I think the best way for me to learn any new language, including German is if I watch some television/film, listen to music, and get a book all based on that language. as well as post in this thread. You have to really soak up a language to be comfortable using it unconsciously. I would love to learn some new languages besides my own for a change.

that is a really good way to learn a language also I had english for 9 years at school, but I really learnd it with watching TV, reading and using it after I left school

That is a great way to learn a language My problem is I am shy to use it around native speakers most of the time

well I guess if everyone else is going to Germany to learn German from Daggi and you're making me then I'll come too LOL I actually really liked Germany when I was there last time so it won't be a hardship I think

I feel like it would be like that if I taught you some Australian slang You could say stuff and no-one would understand what you are saying
