There needs to be some good news This is why I very rarely watch the news or look at news websites - I know it's like burying my head in the sand but I just hate to see all the depressing news stories every night, night after night

I was just looking at the wonderful OP and I see 25 countries that have passed marriage equality laws which is good to see but can't help thinking there really should be more than that
I watched a brutal documentary about extreme Russia and how they show pure hatred against the gay community and how gay couples fear for their lives there because their are homophobes there that want them dead. Also a lesbian viciously stabbed and left for dead by homophobes there. Apparently it's the worst place in the world for homophobia.
It made me cry because homosexuals are really such beautiful people and they shouldn't be victimized and treated so bad because of it. They shouldn't be treated like that

I do hope that maybe some day Russia will start to understand the importance of the LGBT community at least and understand that they are no different to the rest of us. they still deserve love and have the right to love whoever they want.
