Welcome to the first appreciation thread for Fabrizio Filippo/Ethan Gold!

We all know him as the fiddler Ian, as Brian used to call him.

But no matter how much most fans disliked him, there is no denying that Fab Filippo is a great actor and now even has his own show on Showcase!

If you get the chance, watch it! It's pretty nice!

Seriously kudos to Fab for making me like him despite my great dislike of Ethan

And love the caps! The carrott cracked me up! It's such a random detail I loved on this show

Seriously, I never got that carrot.

I kept waiting for something to happen with that, but no such luck.

Oh, and the chained deskchair!

I swear, I was laughing the whole episode! And to think that Fab is one of the creators of the show is great!

He is certainly very funny and I hope that we will see much more of that show.

I actually have to check if the show only had 8 episodes so far! Hopefully it wasn't cancelled...

I have only seen the first five episodes yet, so...

According to TV.com, the first season only has eight episodes and the last one was aired in June. So far, no word about a second season, but I sure hope there will be one.

That's awesome! 8 episodes per season is definitely not enough. Maybe they're trying to do it a la The Office? It had an extremely short first season too, but the second was a full 20 something season.

How did you get to watch the show? Appearantly it's not out on DVD yet. God, it sucks that we always have to wait here in Germany

I've read several comments on IMDB and most of them didn't like the show, but it's probably only a matter of taste there.

I like it and hope that the second season will start soon.

Oh, and if they finally decide to show it on TV in Germany, it might end up on Comedy Central.

But we'll see.

Maybe they will show it on Premiere, so that we can change the language? Or maybe they'll just use subtitles? Yeah, I know, not likely, but still...
