Just a thought on how they met. Michael was probably that kid that got picked on a lot in school (in like, junior high or sooner), and Brian was the one who came to his rescue during a bullying episode, which caused them to become friendly. Maybe that's how it happened.

That is absolutly possible. With Debbie as his mom, picking and bullying would have been for sure, even if it was not at him personally but about his mom. And Brian seeing that I absolutly can imagine to defend him. My guess would be that it just was tough luck, that they both were gay. that had probably nothing to do with it in the first point.

Yes, and Michael would act as support system to Brian's often times crazy and dysfunctional home life.

He found the warmth and love at Michaels home the way he should have found with his parents, and no matter how loud and crazy Michaels family was, they loved and cared about each other and for friends, thats what weld the two together

I wonder why they didn't meet earlier do you change schools at the age of 14? ich would be the only reason that makes sense to me. But I don't know since we are having an other schoolsystem here in Germany..

Here we have elementary school (grade Kindergarten to 5), middle (6-8), high (9-12). So 14 would be the approximate age of entering high school.

thanks for letting me know that would make sense I know that the choice of elementary schools depends on where you are living in a city. Is that different with highschools? and maybe different in each state? Or can you choose yourself which highschool you attend? My nephews and nieces had to drive 30 miles with the bus to get to their highschool, but I don't know if there was one in the little town they grew up.. although there was a little collage

The one at the bowling alley is my favorite because he actually lifts Michael down and kisses him like that. It's borderline romantic for it to be a couple of BFs in that position.

I am so, so, so excited you saved all the photos of Brian and Michael kissing while on your search through season 1. Without a doubt, their kisses were hot. My favorite of the ones you posted is the one of them out by the side of the highway while getting high.

However, there is this line from Brian in 401:

That always seemed inconsistent to me... if they were in 7th grade together, then it's likely they attended the same middle school and met in 6th grade and they would have been 11 years old.
