He really did! But Michael definitely took care of Brian and tried to keep him safe…or enabled him (when he did drugs), most of the time.

Thanks to the "Behind the scenes" stuff, we know that photo wasn't taken on the roof... the close-ups were done in Brian's loft set with a fake backdrop.

The scene was filmed on the roof. But, the camera couldn't reach around front to do the close up shots. The close-ups were done in the loft.

But my vid says that Hal said that they were standing on top of the hospital and that they did see the ambulance pull away when they were intertwined!

I think they did all the scenes where they are standing on top and are seen as a whole on top of the roof, cause they also said that they both ad been wiresecured and I remember Hal saying that too, and the closeups from the front where made in the studio, cause it wouldn't be possible to do that standing close to the wall. there wouldn't be place for a camera in the front
