I appreciated the friendship between Brian and Michael... BUT it was so harmful at the same time.
Brian knew he could be a complete jerk to Mikey and he would never go anywhere (even admitted it) then Mikey was too obsessed at times with Brian to be a supportive friend and not just a yes man kind of friend... I whole-heartedly believe they were great friends, but it went out of bounds a few times. I also think Brian eventually thought of Justin as his closest confidant later in the seasons. __________________

that is true, and Michael growing up and get married drove the two into to different directions and a bit appart. So for sure Justin got te loser friend to Brian and Ben to Michael.... that'S how life goes when you have partners and hw it should be, but this can't distroy a friendship öike that completly.... you have so much history and the friendship may change but sometimes you just need a friend to talk and not a parter.... that is something that can be seen very clearly between EM and Ted, when Em ahd that affair with Dijon and he said to Ted " I wished I could talk to my friend Ted instead of my lover"

That's one of the few scenes where I watch Mikey most of the time. From the moment he almost falls back and Brian catches him, I can't take my eyes off of him.
