I never wondered about it since I automatically assumed it meant "partners" as in "life-partners". I've read an excellent ficlet on how Justin got Brian to admit their partnership between 314 and 401. Unfortunately I totally don't remember where I've read it...
But Brian called Justin his partner in S2 already so it's not like it's the first time... |
