Dine: Just wanted to say thanks for recommending mojo's stuff. I read like all of it last week. Probably the best QaF fanfic that I have ever read. There wasn't one that I didn't like.

And I'm not sure where most people stand on the RPS thing, so I don't want to offend anyone, but I don't really like it. I've tried to read a couple and it just doesn't *feel* right. I could never finish one. ever. I don't know what it is, but it's just something that's not for me. Does that make sense? It's not like I have a problem with people reading or writing it or anything, but it's just not my kind of thing.

Yet, I read her's and I was just amazed that I could read them to the end. They were just fantastic. I don't know what it is, but somehow she made them work for me. I was very surprised.

So, yeah...I just wanted to say thanks for recommending them. I really enjoyed reading them.

see! i told you you'd love her stuff! she is one of the very best qaf writers out there. i never read anything that i didn't like written by her. her brian is very what feels to me in character.

about RPS. i felt like this the same way, actually. at first. the first time i tried i started & read like 3 paragraphs into the fic & then stopped because it just felt way too weird. but once you get used to it, it doesn't feel like that any more. well, at least that's what it was like to me. i started with mojo's RPS, too, then weeks later & ever since i do read & enjoy it. i'm still very picky about what i read, tho. the style has to work for me & if they get too much like b/j i'll quit. i mean, i know we don't know what they're like but they're definitely no b/j.

if you liked mojo, you'll like tink & starla. i'll have to give you their links, too.

eta: tink's site and starla's fic journal - give different stories a try. i really like both their styles.

Hiya, guys ! The weirdo girl is back... What's new in the RPS fanfic little word ?
Any very angsty and sad BJ story ? I've read all the season 5 spoilers (no, don't worry, I won't said a word about it) and I really have ... weirdo ideas about how the season should end Is anybody have links for fic based on season 5 finale ? (real or fake, it doesn't matter)

andalusia, check out in babylon. i hardly read any fic lately, but i know there are fics including s5 spoilers. i'm not sure if they're about the final episode or not. everything that has a spoiler warnung makes me go & not click it.

rps wise - i won't recommend anything to you any more. i know you won't like it anyways. there are links in in babylon, tho.

Yay, another one! I'm totally getting addicted to fanfic now. Like I really need something else to be addicted to!

I'm gonna check it out tonight.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

The past two nights I've been over reading all the stuff on Tink's site. And I just have to say, thank you very much for the link. I'm like a mad woman, I just can't stop reading!

I just started reading Queer as Folk fan fic, but the one I read yesterday, "Torn", was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to read more. If anyone has any recommendations and could tell me what site they're at, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Lisa
