Can someone please remind me not to read cancer!fics... Especially with MajCD...
 You want to bawl like a baby read Remission - it was written before S4 and in this fic it's Justin who has cancer and it is so damn realistic and painful that I'm actually sitting here with a bunch of kleenex, hardly breathing coz I cried that much... |

But there was no warning and I thought it'll be a bad!fic and then I got sucked in and it was so painfully realistic I was crying my eyes out in beginning and bawling with the last chapter. I have never ever cried that much b/c of a fic before

There is always a first time. But the good thing is that it must have been really well written to seem so realistic that it made you cry.

The author had a personnal background to the story so she/he knew what to write... And it started harmless since making Justin suffer and all is a must in bad!fics so I was sure it'd be the case and then the writing appeared to be pretty good and medical stuff was not created on spot to fit the plot and it got worse and worse until Justin died
Actually the story stopped being a B/J but something much more general on how people deal with cancer, their own or someone they love and that's what made it so painful. You couldn't separate yourself from the pain by thinking these are fictionnal characters... I liked the cancer plot in S4 from character's development point of view but it lacked this painful realism. We just had a few snippets of Brian suffering and somehow it made it look easier than it is in reality. That's why I read some gapfillers for 4x09, 4x10 - b/c we never got the insight of what B/J went through. And it was much more than Brian having sexual problems... |

 Now, that was what I would call a classic bad!fic...Ghost stories can be interesting, but this one...nuh-uh! Also, I kept getting distracted by little things. In one chapter it was the summer break, in the next Justin suddenly had school the next morning. Then Jennifer knew about Justin being gay and was already with PFLAG, and in another chapter she suddenly found out that Justin was gay. Erm, okay, yeah... >.< I swear, that story will surely give me nightmares later tonight!__________________

Read it here! But like I said, it's...very different. And the famous short sentences. You will find everything in there. Hey, with this fic you can get even more ideas for your bad!fic!  __________________
