hi, girls
Thanks for your good wishes, Manu. I'm not going anywhere in the next few days (the new year holiday is until Sunday ) As for FSoG- I def agree with you, Manu. I haven't read the books myself but just from picking up a few things here and there I think the whole series is highly overrated and it's basically a bunch of cheesy badly written fanfic which went over board. No wonder actors like Mat Bomer, Robert Pattinson and Rayan Reynolds turned that role down. I'm not too familiar with Charlie but at least it got the reporters talking I watched Live from E! last night (it's a half an hour online live show which I LOVE ) and one of the reporters there, Mark Malkin (which happens to be gay ) pointed out that Charlie took part in some very intense M/M scenes in the original version of QaF. I was like when he mentioned that because that's what we've been talking about here and because QaF has finally been mentioned for once (even if it was brief ) in a discussion on a 'main stream' network. I wonder if now that the whole FSoG casting is complete more reporters would pick up on the fact Charlie was a QaF cast member or will they overlook it because it is still considered a controversial subject after so many years. __________________

Just this morning I read an article in which Charlie was mentioned he played Justin in QaF. I wrote a message immediately to the author, and he replied he just translated a news from a US TV site. So I checked his original source, where it said: "[Charlie] played Justin's UK counterpart Nathan" So I wrote this guy again, and he confided, he wasn't sure what "counterpart" means. Check IMDb or a dictionary, dude! It would have been like 2 secs to find out which role he played.
But I wonder when these two series get mixed up in people's mind, and start to ask Randy or Gale, if they ever considered to audition for this role. Edit: I meant, audition for Grey's character. __________________

The cast for UK QAF were all UK actors. I don't think there was an option for Americans to audition.
I thought Charlie was brilliant as Nathan. I saw him interviewed and he said when he wouldn't see himself with his legs up over someones shoulders now. He laughs about it. I think the MC's of UK QAF were straight — at least Charlie and Aidan were. Just a little trivia - Did you know that Aidan Gillen (Stuart on QAF) plays Lord Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish in Game of Thrones? Another thing I noticed (maybe coincidental), UK actors are not given the kiss of death for playing gay characters. Their careers are very successful. Unlike our wonderful US actors __________________

The fact Charlie was on QAF has been mentioned in all articles I've seen about him taking on the role of the main character in 50 Shades of Grade. Mostly the journalists seem to highlight that thanks to QAF, he's no stranger to sex material on the screen.

Hey girls
After work, I hung out with my friend for a little bit; then I went to this meeting at my school about how to plan for internships and stuff like that and afterward I went to eat dinner with the same friend I hung out earlier with __________________

Yesterday evening I rewatched episodes 306 and 307, and to my biggest surprise my husband sat next to me, and while sorting out some papers, he looked at my screen time to time, and by the end of 306, he was watching that more than his papers.
The results: He already hates Stockwell, made a happy dance when Justin broke up with Ethan, and started to whine about how many more episodes to watch until he gets together with Brian. He really hasn't seen anything else yet (okay, some days back, he was laughing like hell on the "anus bingo" thing), only some of the bloopers, and of course the DVD covers, so he has a clue that Brian and Justin is the main couple, but that's it. __________________

I wish I had somebody to watch it with, too. But right now, it's just a secret treasure of mine.

Yesterday my hubby also watched a pilot episode of a series I like, but he didn't like it, so it seems I'm going to watch that alone. I can't say yet he likes QAF, it was just 2 episodes right in the middle of the 5 seasons, and in these episodes there was no sex scene at all. Maybe he'd freak out seeing one, I have no idea.
Reading Randy's thread about what kind of interviews he has to give, and what he's asked most of the time: I got the opportunity to interview some actors after a play in a few weeks. I've never done anything like before, my job is not at all related to this, I'm totally surprised I was asked to do this. I have no idea so far what to ask, and I also don't know the play, it's quite new, and it's for children. I only know so far that these actors are playing different animals in the play. I'm trying to get prepared beforehand, but I think I have to make my questions right on spot after I've seen the play. I don't want to end up talking with the actors about their previous works, but that's what I know so far. And I've never done anything like this before, I might freak out, or start to cry, or just faint, or... uuugh __________________
