Brian was paying really close attention to what Justin was doing, even when they weren't together anymore.

The little green eyed moster was there, as much as Brian refused to admit it. He was extremely jealous and everyone noticed it.

You have a really good point here. Then, the whole marriage discussion wouldn't have happened and it would have provided a nice closure to Brian's original statement about how he doesn't do love.

Aww but I love all the marriage stuff that comes afterward, even if they didn't go through with it. I think I would have been left wanting more had they ended there. But it's still a beautiful moment

I probably would've been ok with the series ending with that ILY scene. It would've still had an open ending and it would've been slightly less bitter-sweet than the ending we got. But also we would've missed on a few more gorgeous B/J scenes so... I dunno...
