That is one of my favourite scenes! Brian's face when Justin goes to shower is GAH!
And, I think yes, it is open, but anyone thinking they do not end up together is crazy. |

I just love how their story progresses.
How the first season Brian wants like nothing to do with Justin and is constantly pushing him away. In the second season he starts letting him in more but still hasnt gotten the full emotional attachment. In season 3 they are "friend" but you can see all the jealousy he has from Ethan, and then when they do get together its as if nothing happened. And in season 4 its a completely different dynamic for them. They act completely coupley and Justin seems to be more on a level playing field with Brian. But quite possibly, my favorite thing about these two is how Brian looks after Justin. Like, he gave him a place to live, he lent him money, he helped him with his homework, he gave him rides places, he gave him his computer, etc. etc. etc. QUESTION: Since my computer is slow, please tell me.... what happens AFTER Brian says I love you? Like, how does Brian act around Justin after that? __________________

That is the end of the episode. In the next scene together, Brian goes by Justin's place and asks him if he remembers what eh told him the night before, and Justin says yes, and so Brian asks him to marry him, and Justin says no because he knows him too well and knows that he is just freaked out about Michael. Then there's the real proposal, where he says yes.

Gah. Cant wait to see all the episodes eventually. But the B/J moments are definately the best part. __________________

Randy never liked Justin as a character. At one audience meeting or something they asked him a question about Justin, I don't remember and he's like I don't know I would never be in this kind of relationship with Brian ever! So it's like he does disapprove of every decision Justin takes concerning BJ.
I think at the beginning though, it could have been interpreted that way. I mean let's face it straight or gay, the typical adolescent is attracted to the bad boys, the ones you know you can never get unless you try hard enough, and Justin did just that. Then it evolved inot everything else, imo. |

So did Brian have an std or something? Did they ever explain why he always used a condom or was it just to promote safe sex?

to even look at love in that perspective is troubling to me... for anyone to think that they can love someone enough to make them change is ludicrous... michael pegged justin in 301 by saying that because it was true... but i guess all teenagers sort of have that retarded romantic ideal that it's all so easy |

Ahhhh, all's explained then. Yeah, well they had to break up at some point.
It is troubling, but it is true. Luckily, we all move on from that point pretty fast. You get your heart broken and there you go. Man, we finished thei thread pretty fast. We need a title |

I dont think he thought he could make him change, but I think when things started out he hoped that he could. Then when they got so far along and B/J got to where they were in season 2, B had fallen in love with J and J could see that. And so he didnt know why B couldn't just express that to him. And Justin was young. He never had a real relationship and Ethan was willing to give him that so he gave up what he had with Brian. Its completely understandable to me. And afterwards J realized that he made the biggest mistake of his life. It didn't take much for B to take him back either, did it?

Brain was miserable without Justin. 301 anyone? I think the s2/3 break up was something they both needed. Justin to see that true relationships are not made fo words, and to see that Brian is the one that gave him everything, and Brian to realise he needed Justin and actually felt hurt by all that ( the violin music comment in 308.). I mean Brian is way older, but emotionally they are on the same level. They are both falling in love for the first time.

Yeah, theres no point in really arguing. Its clear as day these two love each other.
In the third or fourth episode, I love how Justin goes to dance with those two guys and Brian isjust standing there watching and then he goes over and dances with J. RIGHT away he was already possessive over him. That was the first real hint, IMO that he was starting to like him. He was already intrigued by him. If he didnt care he would have walked away. __________________

Yup, I LOVE IT.
And in the 5th episode, that I saw on tv the other day, Justin ran to Brians loft and asked to stay and B seemed annoyed, but then that random guy was like "get out of here" and Brian is all "better yet, you should leave." It was cute he got all defensive of Justin. and then the next episode he went to the art show and bought the art from him. But he ddnt tell him. Seriously, 6 episodes in and he was falling already. __________________
