Plus, Angel came off slightly stalkerish in the beginning with the BA relationship

And he had almost no back story - he just kind of poofed into existence. I can see people loving CA more just because the characters are much more rounded

When you see Cangel and then Bangel, BA just pales in comparison. (I mean, it already does but I can't see anyone who likes CA converting to BA. Usually Ducks are stubborn and blind and refuse to see anything but their crappy ship)

i have seen a couple that seen cangel first nd ship them but converted to ba after seeing them (some people just like a greek tragedy....woe is me, woe is me, woe is me (somebody dies) back to woe is me

I don't think I've met many who converted from Spuffy to Bangel, but there probably are a few.

I've never known anyone to go the other way, Spuffy/Cangel to Bangel

Maybe I'm just lucky.

I've never seen anyone go the other way either. Maybe people are more open to the S/B and C/A pairings now because the shows are really independent of one another. In syndication, Angel airs on TNT and when Buffy aired it was on F/X. Not seeing them back to back or having news about them lumped together really makes you view each show individually.

You know what buggs me that David Boreanaz says that he think that Darla was Angel's soulmate.Although I think Cordy was his soulmate because she always brougth the best of Angel and gave him strength.Just like Spike loved Buffy more than he ever loved Dru and brougth the best of Buffy and give her strangth when she needed.Well the one good thing is that David Boreanaz doesn't think that Buffy and Angel were soulmates.
