That's a great point. I actually prefer what we got if only because if they'd gone with the C/A/B triangle I don't think Cordy would have ever been developed as anything other than the other woman.

That's true

They probably would have had a torn Angel/jealous Buffy for a few episodes until they resolved the issue with Angel choosing Buffy

Maybe we would have had a Cordy/Spike pairing then

I still can't believe in some ways that they did that. It wasn't only disrespectful to the CA fans but also to the SB fans. After having practically no interaction for the four years apart, BA just fall into each others arms? Pfft. It was an awful way to try and attract viewers that just turned me off even more.

I think Cordy would have been disappointed, mostly. After everything they'd been through - after everything Cordy suffered, for Angel just to ignore that was rude!

I am dispaointed and angry .After evrything Spike and Cordy did for Buffy and Angel they just come nack in each other's arms.Stupid writers.I think that whit Bangel kiss they disrespected both Spuffy and Cangel.

I've never viewed the Angel that visits Sunnydale as the same Angel that lives in L.A. and has a mission of his own. He automatically loses any personality once he crosses into Sunnydale. He also has to be on the losing end whenever someone from Sunnydale visits L.A., even if it's Andrew.

ITA. That's all the sickening display ever was. Joss' greedy way to try and get more viewers for his precious finale.

I do love that most of that kiss was the stunt double though *snort*

honestly I think Cordelia would of been smart about it. hurt but smart. She would of probably done what Spike did left and ignored the matter... showing signs that she was completely hurt but knew it was coming.
I think that's what made Spike and Cordy so special they looked past the jealousy and stuff because they loved Angel and Buffy so much they just wanted them to be happy.

Angel and Buffy on the otherhand are the type to get really jealous and possessive if Cordelia or Spike moved on I think.

Oh teah I think taht too.Did you see in Hell Bells Buffy's jelousy over Spike's''date'' or in Dirty Girls when Spike and Fate are talking.And Angel was deffinatly jelous when Cordy was whit her botfriend(I don't remeber his name).

Cordy's boyfriend was called Groo

And really he was just used as a poor imitation of Angel after a while - Cordy's a clever girl, I think she would have noticed that she was turning him into Angel's double!

In some shots she was - but when they cut back to Spike watching them, I guess they needed Sarah as the First as well, so they had the stunt double kiss David. Luckiest stunt double, ever

I remember an ep in season 5 where Angel was dreaming about Buffy and you could only see a blonde head from the backside, that wasn´t Sarah either. I think it was the ep who Angel had a parasite, I don´t know.
