Yeah, Cordy and Spike would have been very protective about each other ´cause both are like that, if they love someone they won´t let anything happen to that person.

Spike would have been extra protective of Cordelia before Birthday in s3, I don't think he would have been convinced by her 'I'm alright' after every vision.

He probably would have known about the medication she was taking too. Angel's sense of smell was accurate enough that he knew Wesley slept with a bleached blonde. Cordy probably smelled different as she got worse and took different medications. Whereas Angel would try not to use his vampy senses to invade his friends' privacy, Spike would have no qualms about that

I think he would have ferreted out her secrets right away, or he would have made friends with Dennis and got him to spill

He probably would have followed her to the doctor's and charmed a nurse into giving him the details. Or broken in after hours

I could see him doing that just to know something that Angel didn't.

Yeah, Spike wouldn´t have given up finding out what was wrong with Cordy, he had less respect for the privacy of people, but in Cordys case it would have been better.

Oh, definitely! He would have been the first one to try and find out what was wrong with her - but I think he would have been able to keep her secrets when he finally confronted her about the visions, if she'd asked him not to tell Angel and the others because they'd only worry or something. They could have built something great out of that
