I really hated season 5, everything was so illogical and I often didn´t understand what was going on.

i know they started throwing bangel at us again which was so totally over for both angel and buffy, then the angel/eve crap and it didn't stop there they threw in nangel and that is not even including the crappie storie lines and the fred/illyria stuff (still amazes me that they thought fred could replace cordy as the total hottie and the heart). the only good thing about season five was yw even if i hated how it ended with cordy being dead and spangel

I think they at least tried to make her the central female focus of the group, which used to be Cordelia - I remember there was a shot of the gang + Cordelia relaxing in the hotels office in the beginning of s3, in the beginning of s4 they completely reused that whole scene (just in W&H) but without Cordy - but they had Fred sitting as Cordelia had done

It was little things like that that made me believe that Fred was now going to be the replacement Cordelia.

well yeah, she was the main female withouth cordu there - but it's not like they changed her personality to make her more like cordy, or had her grow a close friendship to angel (well she was friends with angel, but not the way cordy had been & a romance between them would have been out of the question)

i didn't mind that bc i pretty much like all ships from buffy & angel, & i think the only reason they did it was just to give a little something to the people that shipped them

i know that really irritated me, fred was bad enough but then you had, buffy, eve, and nina, and while she was in the higher plane, gwen (didn't he kiss jasmine too, i can't remember)...did i miss anyone anyway now if they would have had him kiss spike i would have overlooked it cause i ship spangel anyway but i don't like angel with anyone except cordy first and then spike

Yeah, Angel didn´t seem to care that Cordy was in a coma and then died when he kissed almost every woman who crossed his way.

i think he did kiss jasmine but it wasn't a proper kiss, she just grabbed him & kissed him & he didn't like it

Yeah, Angel didn´t want to kiss Jasmine, it was only her who kissed him. The only woman who he hadn´t kissed was Harmony.

I really hate that Cordy had to die and Harmony survived the whole season. Such an injustice!
